Non-Fourier Motion in The Fourier Spectrum

چکیده

Typically, image motion analysis in the frequency domain is performed according to the Motion From Fourier Coeecients, or MFFC principle. However , this principle excludes a class of motion that does not generate power spectra containing the origin of the frequency domain, which is usually referred to as Non-Fourier motion. This type of motion includes phenomena relevant to motion analysis such as translucency, sinusoidal beats, occlusion, Theta motion, and lacks a deenitive theoretical framework. We address this problem by deriving exact mathematical expressions for Non-Fourier motion, thus providing a basis for computational models for velocity extraction in the frequency domain. Numerical experiments demonstrating the validity of the approach are also presented.

SPECTRUM OF THE FOURIER-STIELTJES ALGEBRA OF A SEMIGROUP

For a unital foundation topological *-semigroup S whose representations separate points of S, we show that the spectrum of the Fourier-Stieltjes algebra B(S) is a compact semitopological semigroup. We also calculate B(S) for several examples of S.

Damped Fourier Spectrum and Response Spectra by F. E. Udwadia and M. D. Trifunac

This paper describes the physical relationships that exist between the Fourier transform and the response spectrum of a strong-motion accelerogram. By developing the new concept of the "Damped Fourier Spectrum" (D.F.S.), we show that the velocity and displacement of the damped oscillator can be represented by a linear combination of the real and imaginary parts of the D.F.S. and by the initial ...

Motion-corrected Fourier ptychography.

Fourier ptychography (FP) is a recently proposed computational imaging technique for high space-bandwidth product imaging. In real setups such as endoscope and transmission electron microscope, the common sample motion largely degrades the FP reconstruction and limits its practicability. In this paper, we propose a novel FP reconstruction method to efficiently correct for unknown sample motion....

GENERATION OF MULTIPLE SPECTRUM-COMPATIBLE ARTIFICIAL EARTHQUAKE ACCELEGRAMS WITH HARTLEY TRANSFORM AND RBF NEURAL NETWORK

The Hartley transform, a real-valued alternative to the complex Fourier transform, is presented as an efficient tool for the analysis and simulation of earthquake accelerograms. This paper is introduced a novel method based on discrete Hartley transform (DHT) and radial basis function (RBF) neural network for generation of artificial earthquake accelerograms from specific target spectrums. Acce...
